Privacy Policy

NPCC MatchPay is a small-team web application used to coordinate match participation, match-fee payments and related club information. The captain is the app owner and can appoint or revoke additional team administrators.

Information we use

When you choose Google sign-in, the application receives basic account identity information, including your email address, and may receive your name and profile image. We use your email address to match your Google account with the player record entered by the captain. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Drive files or Google contacts.

The captain may enter a player's name, email address, mobile phone number, payment exemption status and team membership status. The app also stores match dates, selected Playing XIs, uploaded XI screenshots, self-reported fee payment records and, if entered, manually recorded cricket statistics.

Why we use it

We use this information to permit individual sign-in, display match schedules and payment history, let players mark their own fees as paid, calculate outstanding-match fees and help the captain maintain team records. Marking a fee “Paid” is a player declaration; the app does not process a bank transaction or verify the payment with a bank.

Who can see and change information

Signed-in active squad members can view match fixtures and Playing XI names, plus only their own fee status and payment history. The captain and appointed administrators can view whole-team payment information and private email/phone contact records, and manage player records and match information. Only the captain can appoint or remove administrators. Original XI screenshots are visible to management, not to regular players. Database policies restrict access to private records, and the club tests access with separate captain and player accounts before wider use.

Where information is stored

Google sign-in provides authentication. Supabase stores the app's records and XI screenshot files. Cloudflare serves the website. Browser storage may be used for session information and app functionality. The app loads software libraries from a content delivery service; screenshot text recognition runs in the browser and a selected screenshot may be uploaded into the club's private Supabase storage after an authorised team administrator chooses to save it.

Retention and corrections

Removing a player from the active squad archives the player rather than automatically erasing earlier match and payment records. Contact the administrator to request correction or discuss removal of personal information, subject to legitimate club recordkeeping needs.

Sharing and safety

We do not sell player information to advertisers. We do not intentionally publish squad contact records as public website files. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not upload confidential financial account details or unrelated sensitive information to XI screenshots.
